Saurabh Sood, an experienced and successful professional, is an MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad India. His experience spans I.T. as well as investment analysis and trading. His career started off as Managing Director of Compshan - a private limited company engaged in providing I.T education solutions in association with HCL (India's largest I.T. solutions company) to schools. With the rapid growth of financial services and the stock markets, Saurabh decided to switch focus and in the year 1994 became a well-known Investment analyst and advisor at a relatively young age. His passion for trading and keen interest in technical analysis led him to become the CEO of Marketopper Securities, a company engaged in technical research in 2001. He is presently director with Marketopper Securities.
Sanjay Jain holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Jai Narayan Vyas University, India and is currently Senior Vice President at Enora DMCC in Dubai. He was previously with Moat Trading DMCC, as a fund manager to an Arbitrage Fund and prior to that he was with Image Securities FZC as a Fund Manager for more than 12 years managing the funds through various markets globally. Sanjay has significant experience in defining strategies for funds, trading in various recognised stock exchanges with a view to exploring opportunity for optimal returns.
Dr. Prospero C. Naval, Jr., former Chairman of the Department of Computer Science of the University of Philippines Diliman, holds a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Philippines, Diliman (UP Diliman). He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Kyoto University, Japan. He has authored a wide range of articles and publications. His foray in the world of Finance started with a publication entitled “A Stock Trading System based on the Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization of Technical Indicators on End-of-Day Market Data.” Dr. Naval is the guiding force behind Artificial Intelligence (AI) -based engines used for generating trading strategies. He is the founder and incumbent chairman of the Computer Vision and Machine Intelligence Group (CVMIG) laboratory in UP Diliman.
Ramesh Awatarsing is a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CGMA/FCMA) and holds an MBA from Strathclyde Business School, UK. He is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) UK. Ramesh has been associated with investment management and the financial services sector for over 20 years across Europe, Africa and Asia. After short stays at Ernst and Young and PwC, he joined ING Trust Mauritius in the capacity of Director of Operations, which was subsequently re-branded as Orangefield Trust, following a management buy-out. Currently, he is the Managing Director of Orangefield Mauritius. Pamela Gopaloodoo is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, UK and holds an MBA from the Herriot Watt University, UK. She is also a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants. Pamela has over 8 years of working experience in the offshore sector and is serving on the board of various private companies. She is currently Senior Corporate & Fund Administrator at Orangefield Mauritius and leads a team of people in the corporate and accounting department. She has 7 years’ experience in private equity, corporate and fund administration and accounting field.
Dr. Dilip Madan is Professor of Finance at the Robert H. Smith School of business. He specializes in Mathematical Finance. Currently he serves as a consultant to Morgan Stanley, Meru Capital and Norges Bank Investment Management. He has also consulted with Citigroup, Bloomberg, the FDIC, Wachovia Securities and Caspian Capital. He is a founding member and Past President of the Bachelier Finance Society.
